This location has private beach access to Makua beach (Tunnels) which is one of our finest seasonal snorkel and surf locations in the state of Hawaii.
It is an ideal home for watching whales (in season), dolphins, and sea turtles right from the lanai. Warmed by the tropical sun, cooled by the local trade winds and shady coconut palms, Pu’eone is in truly one of the most beautiful spots on earth.
The house offers a large covered lanai, perfect for entertaining with an open and comfortable interior. The lanai has a built in barbeque grill and a nice large picnic table for sunset dining. In the living room there is a traditional Hawaiian Pune'e couch handcrafted from native Koa wood where you can relax in comfort and enjoy the panoramic views of the ocean and mountains. The house has high-speed Wireless Internet Access so you can be online while watching the waves roll in.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, and a washer/dryer. A breakfast bar joins the living and dining area for easy comfort at meal time. There is an ocean view from the master bedroom with 2 double beds (can be pushed together for larger than a king bed). The second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has twin size bunk beds for the kids. Each of the two bathrooms offers private tropical open air hot water showers.

Pu’eone is just a few minutes from "the end of the road" at Ke'e beach, where the breathtaking Kalalau Trail begins into the famed Napali coast. It is a ten minute drive to Historic Hanalei town which has a variety of charming restaurants, boutiques and services, including yoga and massage, as well as shops to rent kayaks, snorkel gear, or bikes. Princeville is 15 minutes from the house and offers golf, zip-lining tours, horseback riding, jungle waterfall kayak trips, shopping, and more.
